Madison & Ryan
San Miguel de Allende, Mexico
April 23 - 26, 2026
A note from us
Mexico has always been a place near and dear to our hearts. It was actually the destination of our very first trip together — a spontaneous flight we booked the day before New Year’s Eve, so we could ring in the new year side by side. We are beyond excited to celebrate our wedding in San Miguel de Allende. It is a beautiful, romantic, colonial city that we are sure you will love as much as we do. Each and every one of you holds a special place in our lives, and we are so grateful to share this weekend with you.

WHERE TO STAY
Recommended Arrival: Early afternoon, Thursday, April 23
April is peak travel season in San Miguel de Allende, so we recommend booking your travel and accommodations as early as possible to ensure availability.
We’ve secured discounted room blocks at boutique hotels in the historic city center, available on a first-come, first-served basis. San Miguel is also home to stunning villas and Airbnbs, many with courtyards, rooftop terraces, and sweeping views. If booking independently, we recommend choosing a property within walking distance of the center to stay close to wedding events and shuttle pick-up locations.
For a more high-touch experience, Premier San Miguel offers a curated portfolio of historic homes and luxury villas, along with in-home services such as chefs and housekeeping. Airbnb is also a wonderful resource for historic villas and casas.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I get to the wedding venue?
Transportation will be provided for all guests to and from the venue. Please note that private vehicles must be pre-arranged and approved in order to be admitted onto the venue grounds. Shuttle pick-up locations will be shared closer to the event date. Shuttles will remain on-site throughout the celebration for guests who wish to depart early, and will return guests to their accommodations within the city at the conclusion of the evening.
We encourage you to review the designated shuttle pick-up locations in advance to allow ample time for arrival before the ceremony. Should you require assistance on the day of the event, please contact our wedding planning team at +52 442 446 7504 (via phone or WhatsApp messenger) or asistenteluceroa@gmail.com.
How should I travel around San Miguel de Allende?
We do not recommend renting a car in San Miguel. The town is compact, charmingly walkable, and best explored on foot. Its narrow, cobblestone streets add to the charm, but comfortable shoes are a must.
Taxis and Ubers are plentiful and affordable. Local taxis are green and white, with daytime fares averaging about 60 pesos (around $4 USD) and slightly higher rates at night. Please note that taxis in San Miguel do not have meters and only accept pesos. Drivers rarely carry change, so keep small bills handy, and plan to tip 10–15% of your fare.
What will the weather be like?
April in San Miguel de Allende brings breezy, warm days with average highs of 82°F and cool, crisp nights around 52°F. We recommend an extra layer, just in case!
When is the RSVP dealine?
We will open the RSVP portion of the website in the coming months.
Will the events be indoors or outdoors?
All Thursday and Friday celebrations will take place outdoors in shaded areas. On Saturday, the ceremony will also be held outdoors in the shade, followed by an indoor reception.
Should I bring Mexican pesos?
While many places in San Miguel accept U.S. dollars, we recommend having pesos on hand for street vendors, taxis, and market shopping. ATMs are plentiful around the central plaza, El Jardín, and most restaurants and shops accept credit cards.
Pro Tip: Order pesos in advance from your bank for the best exchange rate. Most banks need 2–5 business days, so plan ahead.
